Making the most of a snow day
If you're stuck inside today like me, and most of the state of Massachusetts, you may quickly realize snow days can be a perfect spring board for organizing projects that have been on your to-do-list. Yes, there are other things to balance on these days like shoveling, working at home, and kids for some, but that doesn't mean you can't get started.
Depending on what your circumstances are my suggestion is to set a timer. Even 30 minutes can make a difference. When the timer goes off, even if you are in a groove, give yourself permission to stop what you are doing. If you are feeling especially motivated you can always schedule a second session for yourself later in the day. Remember, getting started can be the hardest part.
For those of you with many others around, you may not have the space to spread out and start a large scale project today. Tackling digital clutter can be a great option for you. Consider your digital photos. How are they organized? Do you just need some time to delete lots of extra or duplicate pictures?
Whatever you choose to tackle today I hope everyone is safe and warm.
